01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by D&T International LLC ("D&T International", "we", "us", or "our") through our website at dtinternational.org or by placing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and D&T International LLC.

02 Services

D&T International LLC provides door-to-door shipping services from the United States of America to selected African countries. Our services include:

• Sea Freight: Door-to-door shipping by sea with an estimated transit time of 4 to 6 weeks.
• Air Freight: Faster shipping by air with delivery to the recipient's address or facility pickup.
• Collection of items from any address within the United States.
• Delivery to recipient addresses in Guinea, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Cameroon, Congo Kinshasa, and Nigeria.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

03 Booking & Orders

By submitting a booking through our website, you confirm that:

• All information provided (pickup address, recipient details, item descriptions) is accurate and complete.
• You are the lawful owner of the items being shipped or are authorized to ship them.
• The items you are shipping do not appear on our Prohibited Items list.
• You have read and agreed to our Prohibited & Restricted Items policy.

A booking confirmation will be sent to your email address upon successful submission. Your booking reference number should be retained for tracking and correspondence purposes.

04 Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are fixed per item category as displayed on our Pricing page. Prices are subject to change without notice, however any confirmed booking will be honored at the price agreed at the time of booking.

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit and debit card payments via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• Cash payment at time of collection (Pay at Collection option)

For Pay at Collection bookings, full payment must be made at the time of pickup. Failure to pay at collection may result in your shipment being held or cancelled.

05 Prohibited & Restricted Items

Certain items are strictly prohibited from being shipped through D&T International. These include but are not limited to:

• Firearms, weapons, ammunition, and explosives
• Illegal drugs and controlled substances
• Flammable, hazardous, or radioactive materials
• Live animals and perishable food items
• Currency (cash) and counterfeit goods
• Any items prohibited by US export law or the destination country's import law

Please review our full Prohibited Items list before booking. Attempting to ship prohibited items may result in seizure of the shipment, legal action, and permanent termination of your account.

D&T International will not be liable for any losses, fines, or legal consequences arising from a customer's attempt to ship prohibited items.

06 Liability & Insurance

D&T International takes all reasonable care in handling your shipments. However, our liability is limited as follows:

• D&T International is not liable for damage or loss caused by improper packaging by the customer.
• D&T International is not liable for delays caused by customs authorities, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Our maximum liability for any lost or damaged shipment is limited to the shipping fee paid for that shipment, unless insurance was purchased.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

07 Delivery & Transit Times

Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Factors that may affect delivery times include:

• Customs clearance processes in the destination country
• Public holidays in the USA or destination country
• Weather conditions and natural disasters
• Port congestion or shipping delays

Sea freight typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from collection date. Air freight is significantly faster but timelines vary by destination. D&T International will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of any significant delays via email.

08 Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] as soon as possible, quoting your booking reference number.

• Before collection: Full refund minus any payment processing fees.
• After collection but before shipping: 50% refund at our discretion.
• After shipping has commenced: No refund available.
• Pay at Collection bookings: No charge if cancelled before the collection date.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7 to 14 business days to the original payment method.

09 Customer Responsibilities

As a customer of D&T International, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring all items are properly and securely packaged before collection.
• Providing accurate and complete pickup and recipient address details.
• Ensuring the recipient is available to receive the shipment at the delivery address.
• Complying with all applicable US export laws and destination country import laws.
• Paying any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by the destination country.
• Declaring the accurate estimated value of items being shipped.

10 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.

11 Changes to Terms

D&T International reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
